Who is ELON MUSK?
He was born on June 28, 1971 in Pretoria, the capital city of South Africa.Today, Elon Musk, who is known as an engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, designer and investor, is the founder and director of Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity, Boring Company, OpenAI, Neuralink technology company.
Musk spent his childhood in South Africa, and at 10 he took his first personal computer. Elon was curious to program immediately and began to learn on his own. At the age of 12, he sold his own play, Blasta (a space shooter similar to Space Invaders), earning $500.
After completing high school at Bryanston High School, he attended Pretoria Boys High School and graduated.He first moved to Canada for university education. After spending two years at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1992, he left Canada to study business and physics at the University of Pennsylvania. The Wharton received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also received a minor in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Arts and Sciences.
In March 1999, Musk co-founded an online finance and payment service X.com. The following year, X.com established PayPal by incorporating Confinity, an auction system of the same magnitude as X.com, with a 50/50 merger agreement. Musk played a very important role in organizing the purchase because of its belief in online transmission, or “P2P” technology. Musk also played a key role in PayPal’s global payment system and the separation of X.com from its core financial offerings.In 2003, two engineers, engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, founded Tesla Motors. From the outset, the company positioned itself as the first serial manufacturer of electric cars, and its founders dreamed of saving customers from the oil burden. Musk strongly supported the desires in this direction. Elon Musk joined the project in 2004, investing $ 70 million in his personal money, leading the company’s initial investments. He became the chairman of the board of directors and did not touch the company at all in the first place.
